3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, USA. When you visit, Netlify’s servers automatically process technical data needed to deliver the website and keep it secure: your IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser and operating system, and the referring page. This data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is kept only for a short time.

Netlify may process data in the USA. Transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Purchases and payments

When you click a buy button, you are taken to a checkout page operated by Stripe. For purchases, Stripe (including its Link service) acts as merchant of record: it processes your payment, calculates and collects sales tax or VAT, prevents fraud, and sends your receipt. For this, Stripe processes your name, email address, billing address, payment details, IP address and device information under its own responsibility. You can read Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

From Stripe we receive your name, email address, country or billing address, and details of your purchase, but never your full card number. We use this to deliver the product, answer support requests and meet tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

5. Contacting us by email

If you email us, we use your email address and message to reply (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Our email is provided by IONOS SE, Montabaur, Germany, and forwarded to an Apple iCloud mailbox. We delete messages when they are no longer needed, unless we must keep them by law.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To use these rights, email us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example in the country where you live.

7. Changes

We may update this policy when our website or services change. The current version is always available on this page.
